Two primary aspects of Chiastic can be configured.
  • The number of threads used to download, install, update, and uninstall NX.
  • The versions of NX availabe to users to download, install, and update.
These aspects can be configured in two ways.
  • In the console, to be used globally across all devices in the organization.
  • In a special config file on individual devices.
We’ll describe each in detail.

Configuring Chiastic from the console

To configure Chiastic from the console, follow these steps.
  1. Navigate to the Chiastic console. For a cloud-hosted version, you’ll navigate to https://app.chiastic.io and login.
  2. Select the Configuration link from the sidebar.
